Floor Plan Area Calculator is a free, browser-based tool that allows users to:

Upload floor plan images in standard image formats
Automatically detect wall-corner vertices using image processing
Manually trace and edit room polygons
Set a real-world reference measurement to calibrate scale
Calculate room areas, perimeters, and bounding dimensions
Export results as a CSV file

All computation is performed entirely within the user's web browser. No images, measurements, or personal data are transmitted to our servers.

3. Permitted Use

You may use the Service for any lawful purpose, including but not limited to:

4. Prohibited Use

Important: Measurements produced by this tool are estimates based on the accuracy of your traced polygon vertices and the reference measurement you provide. They should not be used as the sole basis for legal, structural, financial, or safety-critical decisions without independent verification by a qualified professional (e.g. a licensed surveyor or architect).

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:

Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
Warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of calculated measurements
Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses
Warranties that results will meet your specific requirements

6. Limitation of Liability

The Service displays advertisements provided by Google AdSense and potentially other third-party ad networks. These advertisements are not endorsements by us of the advertised products or services. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of third-party advertisers.

Ad personalisation is handled by Google in accordance with their Privacy Policy. You may opt out of personalised ads at adssettings.google.com.
